Bones Overview

Bones is  a TV show following forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (nickname Bones) and FBI agent Seeley Booth. With Brennan's anthropological expertise and Booth's impressive interrogation techniques and field work, they, along with other workers at the Jeffersonian and FBI, work together to solve crimes where the only remaining evidence of the victim are their skeletal remains. I will be making weekly posts about Bones, starting with episode 3 of season 7. New Girl Overview

New Girl is a TV show that has recently been added to Fox. It follows Jess, a quirky, funny girl that moves into an apartment with three other male roommates after discovering her boyfriend has cheated on her. This series so far is hilarious in the way the show portrays the interaction between Jess and her three roommates- Nick, Winston and Schmidt. I will be making weekly posts about New Girl, starting with episode 6 of season 1. Castle Overview

Castle is a TV show I have been watching ever since it aired back in 2009. It is an interesting TV show that takes you into the life of Kate Beckett, a detective for the NYPD. In season 1, Richard Castle, a murder mystery novelist who is friends with the mayor, shadows detective Beckett in the hopes of finding inspiration for a new book. At first Beckett isn't necessarily happy with this arrangement, but after having Castle shadow her, she decides that he would be a great addition to the team. Together Castle and Beckett solve numerous murders, along with detectives Ryan and Esposito and Lani, the coroner for the NYPD. From now on I will be doing weekly posts on Castle, starting with episode 9 of season 4. You can watch Castle on ABC Monday nights at 9:00. Something Borrowed

This movie is another chick flick, but it is worth watching in your free time. This movie is about this couple (Dex and Darcy) who are supposedly madly in love. The best friend, Rachel gets in the way of their relationship and they have to eventually tell the truth about what is going on. Rachel is dreading telling Darcy what happened that night because it could possibly break their friendship! There are many complicated relationships within this movie, some of them that you would never expect. If you decide to watch the movie, tell us your favorite scene.

The Switch

This is an excellent movie, that is both funny and touching. If you want to know if you should watch it, then look no further, here is the place to find out how it is. This movie is about two best friends, one of which is trying to get pregnant. The girl has a party for her pregnancy, and the best friend winds up switching his sperm for the donors. This movie revolves around the two friends, the donor and the child, while they all get to know each other better and see if there is any possible future for them. If you saw this movie, comment about how you liked it! The Switch is a good movie to watch when you have spare time.

Crazy, Stupid, Love

This comedy is light and has many predictable twists and turns. It's great to watch with friends! Crazy, Stupid Love is about this man, Cal who is having trouble with his relationship, so he goes to Jacob for advice and guidance about women. Jacob is never the type to settle down, but will he ever change? Does Cal win his love over again? You'll have to watch the movie to see! Once you've seen it tell us whether you saw the twists and turns coming.

Transformers 3:Revenge of the Dark Moon

Transformers 3 is almost as good as the first transformers movie. Once again, the decepticons are back and humans have to choose which side they want to be on. Both sides of the transformers could have something very important to bring their world to earth. Who will get the power? Transformers 3: Revenge of the Dark Moon is a 3 hour long movie, so you should have plenty of time on your hand to watch it. This is a great action packed movie, with its comedy relief here and there. Although, if you don't like long, drawn out movies, you might not want to sit through this. Secretariat

This movie was a good one to watch. I highly recommend it if you like animal movies. This movie is about this family going through a hard time, they need to raise money to keep their farm/ranch. They have these great horses and they have to choose which one they want, they choose the foal, later named secretariat to help them raise money. Throughout this movie all the characters have obstacles in one way or another. This is a touching movie that is great to watch with your family or just by yourself.

I Am Number Four

I saw this movie last night and it was great. I was a little skeptical at first, considering some science fiction movies are hit or miss for me. This movie follows John Smith (number 4) and his guardian, Henri. They have to move around due to John's condition, but majority of the movie is set in Paradise, Ohio. John is the next of his kind to be killed, so he must find a way to avoid this. He tries to blend in at his high school, where he meets Sarah, Sam and Mark. While at school John discovers he has a power. He must learn how to control this power in order to beat the Mogadorians. This movie was great and I would recommend seeing it.

The Proposal

This movie is another good choice to watch. It starts out with Margaret about to be deported, and she can't afford this because she is the editor of this big book publishing company. So she won't be deported she lies and says that she is getting married to her secretary Andrew. They go to the immigration office to get their marriage finalized, but instead they find out that they have to go to Sitka, Alaska to prove that they are in love. While they are there she sees that he has a wonderful family and sees how much everybody cares about him. As the time goes by it becomes harder for her to go through with the wedding. Does she go through with the wedding? You'll have to watch the movie to see what happens. This movie is very hilarious and is great to watch with your friends.

Letters to Juliet

This movie is kind of a romantic comedy. It starts out with this Claire, who finds this wall that girls write to for advice. She is in on vacation with her fiance and he isn't paying any attention to her so she decides to look at the wall more closely. The people writing back to them are the secretaries of Juliet, they answer all these problems with love girls face. Claire wants to help so she decides to write back to this one woman whose letter was written 50 years ago, but it was never found until now. The letter convinces her to come back and she comes with her son, Charlie. In the beginning he is a jerk and they go on a search for Lorenzo, her lover. If you watch this movie you will know if she finds her Lorenzo and if Claire actually falls in love in the process. If you watched this movie tell us what you thought about it!

Toy Story 3

This movie was absolutely wonderful and cute, but if you are sensitive in movies, this might make you cry. It starts out with Andy going to college and he has to clean out his room and toys. He decides to take Woody to college and leave the rest of them in the attic. When he puts the rest of them in the garbage bag to go upstairs, the mom actually takes it out for the trash. The toys manage to to get into the box for Sunnyside daycare. They think it will be better than being in the attic. Once they get there it seems like paradise, but in reality it is a place of misery. Woody tries saving them from the bad toys, but are his efforts in vein? Will the toys ever find their way out of Sunnyside? Will they ever find a new home? Watch this movie if you want to watch a heart-warming movie.

Taking 5

This movie follows Gabby and Devon. They want 5 Leo Rise to come play at their school, so they try to collect the most wrappers for a contest to get them to play there. They collect the most wrappers, but in an unfortunate incident the wrappers get burned, which means the band won't be playing there. Gabby and Devon are now hated by the school and decide that if they can get the band play, then they will be out of Social Siberia. When they go to the bands signing, they are disappointed when the band won't play at their school and find out that they aren't as nice as they seem. Out of "revenge" they come up with a plan to kidnap the band with the help of Lincoln. This movie gets it right with the elements of school and I would recommend this movie to anyone who's looking for a movie in between a kiddish version of high school and the adult version of high school. It's funny and it's different from other teen movies!

Step Up 3

This is a great movie with amazing dancing and choices of music! The movie starts out with these best friends, Moose and Camille going to NYU. Moose has given up dance and is going there for engineering, while he is touring he gets caught up in a dance competition. Later, he is taken into a dance crew and so is this girl named Natalie. The guy who takes them in is Luke, will he fall for Natalie? There is always a conflict between the two dance houses and if the pirates don't win the world jam, Luke and his crew lose their warehouse. Will they make the money to keep it? Will they win the world jam? This movie is perfect for you if you just want to have fun! But, if you want to watch this one I would recommend watching the first and second one before you watch this one. Personally I think this one has the best dance moves and plotline. Burlesque

This movie follows Ali, a want to be dancer. She moves from a small town to Las Angeles, where she walks into the Burlesque bar. She is fascinated by everything that happens there, but only can land a job as a waitress, not a dancer. When auditions are held Ali proves herself to Tess, the club owner and becomes a Burlesque dancer. Nikki, one of the dancers, stirs the pot with Ali and Tess. Throughout the movie the bar is in a tight spot when it comes to money. Will Tess find the money in time to keep the bar? The dancing in this movie is great and so is the singing. The "hollywood" flash makes this movie even better.

It's A Boy Girl Thing

Nell and Woody have been neighbors since they were kids and they've never liked each other. In high school, Woody is on the football team and Nell is studying to get into Yale. While on a school field trip something happens and the next morning they wake up in each other bodies. At the beginning they try to figure out what happened. Nell and Woody have to help each other. While Woody is in Nell's body he needs to do well on her college interview for Yale and Nell in Woody's body has to impress the scouts during a football game.Throughout this movie they use the fact that they are in the others person's body to get back at one another. This movie has lots of humor and it keeps you interested the entire time. If you are looking for a good laugh, this is the movie for you.

When In Rome

This is another good movie. It starts out with Beth, the main character flying out to Italy to go to her sisters wedding. She is obsessed with her work and she has to work productively over the break for her art exhibit. Since she is so into her job, she can never quite find someone who fits her perfectly. While she is there she picks some coins out of the Trevi fountain, which makes these men try to pursue her. She flies back to America and she finds out that the suitors have come with her. Will she find love? Will she get rid of them? You'll have to watch the movie to see. This movie is a romantic comedy that is great to watch one day when you can't figure out what to watch.

Legally Blonde

I would recommend this movie. It is a light, fun movie (it's a chick flick); it is about the main character Elle Woods trying to impress her boyfriend after she gets dumped. She works really hard to achieve her goal and she gets to be on a real case, which proves to be a bit of a challenge to win. In the beginning she is trying to prove that she can be smart and she is trying to win her boyfriend back. Will Elle Woods find somebody new to love at law school? Will she win her case? This movie has its funny moments (especially the bend and snap part) and I would recommend it if you are bored one day. If you watched it tell us what you thought of it!

Glee : Silly Love Songs

This episode was good, although it was heartbreaking because the people who were in love didn't receive love back. It starts out with Puck liking this new girl in the glee club, she isn't turned onto him and has to be persuaded to go out with him. Then, since the football team won their championship game, Finn decides to have a kissing booth to raise money for the glee club. Then Kurt actually likes Blaine, and he thinks he likes him back. Santana gets her feelings hurt when she gets insulted, she's not the tough girl she seems to be. The glee club has to do love songs to a partner and they are all preformed well. It turns out that Finn and Quinn still like each other, even know she is dating Sam. Blaine gets disappointed when the guy he likes doesn't like him back, just like Blaine didn't like Kurt back. Later, Quinn decides that it is better if she stays with Sam until she figures out who she likes, but they kiss after Santana kisses Finn in the kissing booth. When she kissed him she got mono, so he would be sick and get Quinn sick, to prove to Sam that she was cheating on him. Finn tells Rachel the truth that he only sees fireworks when he kisses Quinn, so Rachel backs off. In this episode I think Santana was really mean for basically pointing out that they had a secret affair. Also, I don't like that Finn and Quinn had secret feelings for each other, when she was going out with Sam. Sam and Quinn are so cute together. Rachel seemed much nicer this episode and she seems less annoying. What did you think about this episode?

The Italian Job

John Bridger joins Charlie, Steve, Rob, Lyle and Left Ear for one last heist. The heist goes smoothly, but an unexpected betrayal lands the rest of the team with no gold and John dead. Charlie gets the guys together a year later once they have tracked down Steve. To take John's place they bring in Stella, John's daughter. The team comes up with plan to steal back their gold and get revenge on Steve for killing John... this one's emotional for all of them. The well thought out twists in this movie keep you entertained and the slight hint of comedy makes it even more enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good thriller.
